Orkli takes part at the 2010 edition of Intersolar exhibition in Munich
Although it is the first timethat Orklitakes part as exhibitor at Intersolar in Munich, held from 9 to June 11 in Germany, this has been a good opportunity to present its range of components for the renewable energy sector. It was also a good opportunity to establish contacts with visitors from Austria, Switzerland, Southern Germany, etc. who came to Orkli stand interested in its products. Among the products presented, the demo for the drain-back system Drain-Unit, caused great interest, as well as the wide range of solar pump stations, zone valves and the Solar Kit for boilers.

Once again major Groups bet on Orkli to train their proffessionals.
Orkli co-operates with Termalde in the "VI technical sessions oriented on energy efficiency and better management of the facilities" in a training seminar held at Hotel Barceló in Vitoria-Gasteiz. About 60 people have taken part in that seminar referred to the heating systems and solar thermal and how to adapt it to underfloor heating-cooling systems. Orkli experts in training answered all the questions arising from the use of this both types of systems in new and rehabilitation buildings. Orkli as a manufacturer of components for solar and underfllor heating-cooling systems, thanks Termalde by their initiative whose philosophy is to pass on to customers the progress that the producers like Orkli develop to get comfort on their equipments with the maximum energy efficiency and the largest contribution to the Environment.

Exceeded all expectations in the exhibition InstalMat Barcelona from 12 to May 15, 2010
With the innovation and energy efficiency as a backdrop, the exhibition InstalMat, in which Orkli has taken part as an exhibitor, received more than 10,000 professionals. Despite the current situation, professionals who have come to stand Orkli, more than 250 registered, have become interested in learning about the new products presented to help them reduce energy costs, while to be competitive in their sector. Orkli presented its wide range for solar, being highlighted its drain-unit, a drain back system to prevents overheating and freezing in the solar collectors. With this product Orkli has been choosen to participate in the Product Award 2010, having been selected as a first step. Together with this product, also the rest of its catalogue of components for solar systems: solar pump stations, zone valves, etc. and also a innovative solar panel with integrated tank, a solar panel that uses thermal energy, completely autonomous and easy to install. And ... as well as one of its Orkli “star” product, the integrated underfloor heating-cooling showed the full range of insulation panels and their distribution teams and all the different kind of regulation. And also during the opening ceremony Orkli was selected as one of the exhibitors to visit by the Minister for the Environment and Housing of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Francesc Baltasar, who accompanied by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Housing, Javier Eugenio Ramos President of the exhibition, Pere Miquel Guiu, and other personalities, showing great interest in the products presented, making all sorts of questions that the Commercial Director for Heating in Orkli, Beñat Zudaire answered with all sorts of details.

Orkli again at the forefront on training
Once again Orkli was choosen to provide training for installers, this time in Catalonia area. One of the largest buying groups in that area, Mafonsa, in collaboration with Orkli, has launched a training-course in Underfloor Heating-Cooling and Solar Systems to be held in three sessions, 22th, 29th and 6th May. About 50 installers per day confirmed the attendance and the course will be given at the Hostalric Castell (castle-fortress tourism) in Girona. Orkli technicians and the delegate of the area Mr. Josep M. Gruart as well as the presence of the our agents in this area has been in charge of the first course developed in two shifts of 25 installers, with the aim of getting a good performance of the course. Representatives and technicians of Mafonsa Group attended the course. At the end of the day we visited this beautiful site of XII century and an excellent dinner were held together with all the attendants.

Orkli’s evaluation of underfloor heating-cooling training recently given to architects in Madrid
Organized by Construible, a training course of low temperature air-conditioning installations was given about 80 architects on 14 and 15 April, where several experts analyzed micro-cogeneration, geothermal and distributions systems (underfloor heating). Last of one was given by Orkli. The aim of this course has been to reach out to architects those new technologies, materials and new systems related to sustainable construction and energy efficiency in buildings. As far as underfloor heating-cooling systems, Amaia Aizpurua was, as an experience product manager the responsible for giving the training content. She highlighted the AENOR certification obtained by Orkli on February 2009 for their underfloor heating-cooling systems that meet the most demanding requirements regarding thermal and acoustic resistance. There were some highlights that Amaia Aizpurua pointed out along the course, such as the advantages of this system before others, the different floor types, etc. as well as other important issues like the several phases of the project, the energy certifications, and what are the arguments to be use as prescriber to defend this type of solution. At the end of the course, there was a questionnaire about quality that the organisers gave to the attendees, obtaining Orkli an average rating of 4.5 points on 5.

More and more professionals choose Orkli for their training
If at the beginning of last week was a training course for Architects, last Thursday and Friday more than twenty installers and distributors from Castilla y León visited us in Orkli facilities for an intensive training in Underlloor Heating-Cooling and to learn more about solutions developped by Orkli, mainly on solar energy systems. Already more than 400 professionals passed by Orkli for a training, since last February, where they have the opportunity to participate in a course that allows them to have the answer to those questions that arise in day to day, but what they value most is to meet with a company, as Orkli, visiting their facilities and remain witnesses of all of the processes involved in the manufacture of any product of their catalogue. Because, being designing manufacturers is what makes us different.

Orkli values its presence in the Mostra Convegno in Milan 2010
During 23 to March 27, Orkli has been present in the 2010 edition of the Mostra Convegno in Milan. Most of the reports collected after the event show the large number of visitors, as wells as the exposition of solutions related to renewable energies that, more and more exhibitors show (solar, geothermal and biomass). Orkli Underfloor Heating-Cooling training for about 100 architects
During the 14th and 15th April, Orkli will provide training in the area of Underfloor Heating-Cooling to a group of architects in a course on BUILDING EFFICIENT AIR-CONDITIONING. Amaia Aizpurua, Technical Manager will be in charge of this training, explaining the activity, and how to integrate this system in any architectural project. Orkli, positive balance of their participation in Interclima 2010 in Paris.
From 9 to 12 February, Orkli has participated in the exhibition Interclima Paris, as it was done for last five editions.
Even with bigger size stand, Orkli has used this event to launch its underfloor heating-cooling systems in the French market. In the domestic market, Orkli is already widely known as a manufacturer of these systems which has been already certified by AENOR among the top four companies. The report of this exhibition shows Solar products in general on behalf of several exhibitor, and as Orkli is concerned, its solar wide range of products, from the hydraulic groups for smalll and large facilities to its new and unique drain-back system, being its main feature that it is applicable to facilities until 4-5 solar collectors. This make this device unique in the market and Orkli always at the forefront on novelties. Among the visitors to the stand, Orkli invited them to participate in a raffle. At the end, the winner of the excellent ORBEA Bike was Mr. Michel Delsol of Toulouse whom our delegate in France will give this gift.

In ORKLI ORDIZIA the annual sales meeting was held to meet its sales network of Spain and Portugal.
Orkli held on 4th and 5th February in Ordizia its annual sales meeting with its sales network of Spain and Portugal to discuss the market situation of the company.
The two days of the annual sales meeting served, first, to analyze what happened in the market during the year 2009 and, secondly, to transmit and report on plans and developments for 2010. Beñat Zudaire and Josu Zaldua, along with the product managers were in charge to present both the results of the previous year as the presentations of novelties for the coming year. At the same time, the general manager Patxi Lopez, said the most gratifying experience it is to bring the whole business network which aims to strengthen the consolidation of the commercial network as well as to involve them in Orkli project. The year 2009 has brought to Orkli, despite the general economic situation, a significant increase in sales in those newer areas of business such as the wide range of solar components and the underfloor heating-cooling systems. After those reports, Beñat Zudaire, on behalf of Orkli granted an award to Jose M. Herrezuelo and Alberto Macon of Castilla y Leon, for their work in the area of underfloor Heating-Cooling. To finish the two-day annual meeting, it was proposed a wine-competition between several groups created between the own sales network and other staff of Orkli, it was followed by a lunch and a family photo.

Patxi Lopez: New General Director in Orkli
Since 7th January, Orkli a manufacturer of components for thermoelectric safety, water heating, heating and plumbing, underfloor heating-cooling and solar systems componentes has appointed Patxi Lopez as the new General Director, replacing Iñaki Ocaña, who has moved towards new projects in the Division of Mondragon Components. Until then Patxi Lopez was involved in the General Management of the production plant in Poland that Fagor Electrodomésticos owns in that country, so he will provide Orkli a great experience in the domestic appliance sector as well as any solutions for comfort area, which will help Orkli in achieving the objetives of growth so for the domestic as for the international markets.

Recognition by the Ministry of Housing to AENOR Certifications, some of which Orkli has already obtained since early 2009.
From February 2009 Orkli’s already been certified by AENOR in Underfloor systems, certification granted by complying with all requirements regarding thermal resistance and acoustic properties of underfloor heating systems. AENOR just made public that the Housing Ministry recognizes the mark N of Aenor as a distinctive of CTE Quality. This distinctive situates Orkli on the use of tools that show how is they comply with the basic requirements of the Technical Building Code and therefore their underfloor heating systems are recognized for this seal of quality issued by the Administration. In addition to certification AENOR for Underfloor Heating Systems, Orkli’s catalog includes other products ANEOR certificates, such as pipe for underfloor heating and thermostatic valves, among others.
