Orkli - lurbero underfloor heating training courses totally free

One year after the launching of Lurbero and due the great demand for training and advice about installing UNDERFLOOR HEATING Orkli is providing training courses to every week. More than 400 people passed by Orkli's site until now.

The main feature of this new activity launched by Orkli lies in the offer of an integrated system, that ranges from customised technical advice, calculation and estimate in a short space of time, the most complete range of all the components necessary to install underfloor heating, the delivery of material directly to the site, ... to an on-site and after sales technical assistance service. Because only ORKLI gives the difference as an integrated system like LURBERO.

Solar energy system solutions

ORKLI's concern for the environment has been a constant factor in recent years. The company policy of promoting the use of innovation and sustainability criteria in order to protect the environment has led it to implement basic environment-related Continuous Improvement and Prevention strategies in the manufacture of its roducts.

Orkli's commitment to the environment is centred on the development of new products designed to help save energy in heating and plumbing and water heater systems by over 20% in comparison to conventional heating systems.

Orkli's experienced R&D team has been focusing its efforts on solar energy system solutions. Our most recent catalogues have featured a range of products that includes a number of solar components, such as solar safety groups and solar zone valves used in heating and sanitary hot water systems. This year, however, in line with its ongoing pursuit of innovation, Orkli is set to offer its customers water solutions for solar installations, including products such as safety valves, drain valves, hydraulic units to name but a few.

These innovations underline the company's commitment to its main objective: to meet the requirements of its customers, who, like Orkli, are concerned with saving energy and sustainable development.

Orkli presents their news at the annual sales convention

ORKLI brought together their sales network ant hotel Aranzazu in San Sebastian during two working days, 9th and 10th February. The first day dedicated entirely to commercial matters began with a welcome to the sales network.

The directors of Orkli presented the results obtained by Orkli during the year with a constant grow, which surpassed the previous year by 24% at Heating and Plumbing Business Unit. Once again, the thermostatic valves have been one of the products of biggest increase in sales grow. Orkli is and indisputable leader at the domestic market. At the same time, their new activity called LURBERO, Integral Radiant Floor, and launched 8 months ago has been consolidated as one the near future projects in ORKLI.

The targets for the year 2006 were presented in a motivated atmosphere where the sales network is very willing to aim the new objectives and to share with Orkli the development of new products. The day after, the technicians met the sales network again to speak about the news on products, which they presented, such as : Thermostatic Mixing Valves, Manifolds and distribution equipments with valves and lockshields incorporated; valves 'H' shape for radiators with integrated valves; bridges for hydraulic installation test; the new thermostatic valve squared inverted; the telescopic union tail piece; the monotube and bitube valves….and the new CONNECTA pipe connection system to quick connect to the pipes, only one valve for all kind of pipes, PER, multilayer, copper.

Orkli at Mostra Convegno 2006

Mostra Convegno Expocomfort is an international exhibition for heating, air conditioning, sanitary…sectors now taking place in a new fairground. During 28th february and 4th march, many proffesional manufacturers and distributors of the said sectors visited the Orkli stand. An international show case according to the time and new market demands. Orkli took part again at this event and presented products for the water heating and heating and plumbing sectors. As in the past, Orkli got in contact with many and important current and potential customers from Europe mainly.

Orkli at Interclima 2006 - Paris, January 2006

Orkli is now a familiar face at the Interclima Trade Fair, which is held in Paris every two years. This year the company showcased a wide range of products on a custom-designed stand. Crowds flocked to the exhibition centre and a there was a large influx of visitors to the Orkli stand, all with an interest in the latest developments and products on show.

Among the new developments on display at Interclima was the Over-pressure kit with expansion vessel for hot water boilers with mixing valve, an all-round solution to the demand in this sector for comprehensive, easy-to-install solutions. With innovation in mind, Orkli has improved its safety groups, incorporating dielectric records. Orkli Safety Units are certified by the accrediting bodies CSTB and Belgaqua as fulfilling the requirements of European Standard EN 1487.

Orkli is also the sole manufacturer in Spain of Thermostatic Valves. The market for this range of valves has recently undergone considerable growth, with an increase of over 25%.

Orkli joins the Kyoto club

Orkli is now a member of the 'Kyoto Club', an initiative of the Ministry of the Environment's Biodiversity Foundation Orkli has a dual commitment to the Environment. The first part of this commitment is a plan for developing new products to aid energy saving in heating installations, such as thermostatic radiator valves, chronothermostats and underfloor heating units which save up to 20% on consumption compared to conventional heating installations. The second part of our commitment is an efficiency plan for our own manufacturing processes. In 12 months this has enabled us to save 40% on our water consumption (recirculation systems) and 30% on waste generation (by converting the waste into raw material via decanting and filtering systems).

These two commitments form part of Orkli's strategy, and fulfilling them is an important part of the company's policy.
